Hello.
I film and cut at the moment with an old Panasonic DS-65 and 11 of Pinnacle Studio. So far so good.
I now consider a newer / better camcorder to buy. The Canon HV20 seems quite good. The filming in HDV, is it?
Can I just cut this material to DVD and burn as normal DV?
Can I be synonymous throughout this material on my normal tube television?
I would like to see the HD options open if I have some time on an HD television transfers.

If your editing program to cut HDV mastered is not a problem. Before the edition on DVD, the material is easy to DVD-compliant 720 × 576 downscaled. The spent material is readily available to represent tube devices.
