Hi together
I want me for DV editing buy a MBP and want to let you be happy to help decision:

- Is it for the MBP 2GigaRAM bars to fit (ie 2x 2GRAM)?
- Can I later replace the processor?
- Can I have an older iMovie project import?
- Can I work for DV / HDV recording simultaneously to tape and via software
Firewire and - on the laptop capture, if so what progi?

I would be eternally grateful for your experiences or tips.

in almost all notebooks, you can replace the processor, but needs to see if the motherboard supports the processor.

Do you need the Firewire SDK 23 Developer Kit for Mac OS X (you can find in the Firewire downloads on the Developer Page of apple.com), therein lies the program AVCVIDEOCAP. That would be synonymous already.
