Frage von Kabakiffer:Hello everybody!
I have a question about the above-mentioned camera.
This camera, I have before me to buy, but my editing system is not yet capable of HD.
I have gelesesen that you should be filming in HD, synonymous later when you are just a Pal signal.
Hence my question. Can I filmed in HD material via firewire then synonymous than PAL output? (I like it so far with my DV camera made)
Or is this then only on an AV / SVideo cable possible?
So again to explain what I want to have:
I take on in HD,
playing the material via firewire to the PC,
did the material directly in the Pal format aufm PC

Antwort von r.p. television:
Yes, it is.
In any HDV Camera is a converter integrates the MPEG2 stream in real time to a DV stream can convert. Then output via FireWire.
The camera then behaves synonymous of control, etc. as a normal DV camera.

Antwort von ars2000:
I can only agree with cj. The encoding into the target format should always s.Ende and are not s.Anfang. If, however, in your case, the investment in an HD-capable editing system mean. The conversion of HD to SD is always associated with loss and good quality is relative.
