Frage von mhuber:Hello Forum,
maybe you can help me with a purchase to help?
Scenario: During the seminar I movies - so far on Panasonic miniDV with NX7 - Participants in the action, even a short time later, we want the view by Beamer and discuss.
So far, I hang the projector s.den Video Cam output of the coil and I need her scenes. The often annoying.
How the heck are: I film depends Cam s.mein the new MacBook, I really prefer to fix shots in iMovie 08, then mount the crucial scenes with transitions and titles and go by MB in the beamer or burn a DVD.
Criteria: As I said, it should go
fix, and as
handy with a
consumer cam, image quality is not the top priority.
I find the idea charming, on
SD cards (or similar) to store and possibly
using this
card reader is available.
It must poss.
No time eating conversion necessary.
Moreover, I find the
widescreen format (16:9?) Chic - with my old cam does not work that way.
With
iMovie 08, I would like to accomplish on the
MB. What recommended it to me?
Thanks in advance!

Hi Michael,
would be a possibility of the camera directly via Firewire incorporated into the laptop. Then you have the pictures immediately on the plate and they can edit. This is of course only if the camera more or less stands s.einem place. Firewire cable should I think up to 4.5 m long.

Hi Michael,
I see there are two possibilities
1. At a "Fire Doors" or "Citidisk" (both very expensive) record.
2. An SD camcorder to buy.
2.1 eg Panasonic (SDR-S10EG-K, SDR-S150EG-S), characterized in Mpeg2 on.
2.2 (I trust I am not out) digital camera.
to 1:
Because here in the DV format is recorded, it should be little trouble cutting and you can give the old camcorder next use.
to 2:
Please make sure to check your laptop with video editing software can handle the format.
to 2.2.:
You write
"the picture quality is not top priority.". Cameras are not a camcorder. Whether you the picture quality is enough and the video format (usually 640x480, 30fps) do you need to know. Also, the recording time is certainly of interest.
