Frage von annereit:Hello,
I want to buy me a new laptop, with whom I can carry in addition to standard office applications, a lot of video editing (cutting) new together. Furthermore, I am traveling a lot and would like to use the device almost as a "TV replacement" in order to be able to watch DVDs on the road once. Now I've had a lot of different DVD format (NTSC or PAL) and now know of several manufacturers (eg Toshiba and HP) that the new device can play both formats initially, but after a while (exactly 5 times played) auto adjust to the format, which was modified in the DVD drive. After that it can no longer synonymous change (or only on commission = pay an expert - and then it's been fixed).
Rather impractical for my purposes ...!
Has anyone a solution?
Thank you!

This has to do with PAL and NTSC but nothing at all, only Region1 DVDs are usually NTSC and PAL Region2 normally.
But PAL and NTSC is probably a problem for any laptop.
