hab heut of my grandfather get his old camcorder. It is a Sony CCD-TR760E video Hi8. Is it still part with an analog cassette. ^ ^
Now I here all kinds Schnick Schnack dazubekommen. Hab mir mal synonymous read the manual but it says NEN shit about PC's ... is ja wenns of 1996 clearly is. Back then gabs ja noch nich for everyone to cut Billigprog etc O_o
Nu Cam has an SVideo connection s.den I synonymous its cable and have put my graphics card (a Radeon 9800 Pro) has the same connection. Also reingesteckt but nothing happens. I am without a manual, etc. ... aufgeschmissen on the course SonyPage gives no answers. ^ ^
Must be because you only configure the graphics card? Ich habs mal with Pinnacle Studio 9 probiert was incorporated in the recording mode. He says only that but still no DV port on it is (logically ne?) And I have to ask in the settings if the switch is analog. DA IS NOTHING BUT! * grml *
And now I hope for your help me to be able to answer as I have the video footage of the Cam to bring my PC. Is there a special program? Mir isses schnurz what hauptsache for one ... I can soon start with the cutting. Would be really happy if the hinhaut. And please come to me with no special video card because then I warring crisis! : D (no seriously)
Oh if anyone asks, YES I have the Cam synonymous times turned on in the fruitless attempt to transfer or the transfer. ;)

I can not tell you whether the SVideo port on your graphics card is an input or output.
Suppose there is an input, and all of the graphics card drivers are installed correctly. In the recording settings in the capture software (in your case, Studio 9) somewhere you can select the video source. In your case, it is not a DV camcorder but the analog input from the graphics card, as is eg "nVidia WDM Video Capture" or something similar.
So if you the correct video source you selected, and the camcorder is not only activated, but you have to "play" button, then you should see the picture in the preview monitor to see the capture software.
When you Sonyfindest of course nothing on the subject, but perhaps in the documentation of your graphics card.
