Just looked up that needs phantom power. You can not use with latch. Perhaps with a Seiseadapter, but waiting times what the others say.
Antwort von Bernd E.:
... Just after seen the need phantom power ... Where have you found this info for? The SM58 is the classic among the live and dynamic stage microphones, and which do not need phantom power.

Common mistake is synonymous a solder bridge between existing housing XLR and Ground (with cheap adapters). Using of Consumer camcorders without XLR inputs, ie, where with an XLR / jack adapter to work, the XLR chassis to ground it.

Forgive me, will probably be due to it in my shack pig hot.

You need an adapter that s.dem pin 3 of the XLR connector is connected with mass. Whether the housing of the XLR connector with mass, ie pin 1 of the XLR connector is connected or not, is relatively no preference.
The coil of the dynamic SM58 is s.den pins 2 and 3 connected. Pin 3 is now s.Klinkenadapter not associated with mass, then hang the coil in the air, "there can be no current flow. In the so-called balanced electronical Mikros (usually all condenser microphones, which do not use the output transformer) is located a signal between pin 2 (the "hot") and pin 1 (ground). At pin 3 (the "cold") is either no signal, but synonymous via a resistor to ground or an inverted signal, how it is actually expected.
It should be rich, if pin 1 and pin 3 in the XLR socket of the adapter connected.
