Frage von graefe:Hello,
I would like to have a Firewire (Camera; connect DCAM or IIDC compatible) s.ein large display.
I know that Firewire-> analog converter is. But it's really a pity to abandon digital signal, where the majority have displays, inputs for digital signals.
So: Is it synonymous displays that have a Firewire input? Or there's a way to transform the signal into a standard firewire signal and receive the digital signal?
Thanks for tips
Thomas
Antwort von RickyMartini:
IMO has no display via firewire.
HD camcorders offer some an HDMI connection, which can be achieved with the purely digital transmission.

In the early days of FireWire, there were one or the other of Sonymal Television with FW port. But of course, has emerged as simply too expensive. So, either via S-video out of the action or FW-component converter. One or the other DVD recorder is synonymous ne FW interface.

Thanks for the replies.
I need for the television so an analog signal - to capture images with the computer, but a digital signal.
I would have two choices:
a) receive a digital camera and (convert the signal to the television to analog, D / A converter) or
b) take an analog camera and (convert the signal for the computer to Firewire, A / D converter)
What recommends it to me?
Thanks

The former is the best solution!
In addition, each DV (Firewire Cam synonymous with analog outputs, RCA and / or S-Video does, can be adapted easily u Scart), you do not need extra D / A Converter!

Hello,
it is for me but not a DV-cam, but a cam, connected s.ein microscope. An analog signal is not delivered as a rule.

Probably this is the DV camera is not compatible with usual eh consumer DV equipment. You will therefore probably can not connect anyway s.einen Calculator.
Everything in their usual consumer device understands only AV / C protocol via FireWire. Thus, synonymous clear - if the camera only DCAM / IIDC provides that a display output can only be made through the calculator on a computer monitor.
AV / C is compressed DV - video + audio + controller, DCAM is only uncompressed video for industrial applications and the like.
