Frage von Sebastian Wolf:I'm trying to have a Sony camcorder (DCR-TRV80E) as A / D converter to be used: S-Video input durchschliefen s.den USB output. This has in the past often been synonymous geklappt. Now, I try something exotic: I want the video output of an ultrasound device digitizer. Somehow, it seems next to the setting on NTFS or PAL or other features to give the S-video signal influence, because until now recognizes the S-Video input of your camcorder, the signal is not yet.
Any ideas?
Thank you already now.

You mean, you grind the analog signal via FIREWIRE s.den PC, not via USB. That would make sense. With normal video but it should be synonymous funzen. Works on my TRV50E too.

Hi Andy,
Thanks for the feedback.
Your comment is totally correct: I am going with a purely analog video and with firewire out.
In general, the work so synonymous. Now I just seemed an analog video signal to have the typical standard of somehow different, so it does not recognize the camcorder. My specific question is, what it could be. If I were the signal to a conventional VHS video recorder would, then the picture looks completely normal. The recorder can be something that the camcorder can not.
Any ideas.
Thank you
Seb

Have you connected with the audio? I mean, I have always problems with the looping and digitizing where I ONLY the video, without audio, have entered.
Apparently it works only if video and audio signals are connected and come.
Check the times.
