Hello,
I have collected after a weekend tour of several acquaintances and pictures will distribute them as a compilation on CD again.
Goodie than I thought rather than just hand out a normal data CD (ISO 9660) to combine the images with a slide show so that it can be synonymous played on DVD players.
My first attempt was with nero 6.6 just copy the pictures into a SVCD. Offers, although the possibility of the original images with play on the CD (or just the folder next to the default directories with drag on the CD), but unfortunately the menu is only max. 99 images supported.
In searching the forum I then came across the option in NeroVision Express to burn them as several slide shows. Synonymous Klappt if only I can add the original images do not.
Ok I thought, just take back nero 6.6 star test and a SVCD and copying from the image slideshow created with NVE just the directories and files on the targets in nero. This nero but can not.
If I slide closer look at the SSCC is the following sessions / tracks:
CD_ROM XA
Session 01
Track01 ISO9660 Mode 2 (here are the slide shows - I can save it as a separate image of the finished CD, mount [daemontools] and then open)
Track01 Data Mode 2 (relatively small - N: what's in there. This track I can not open separately)
Gibts the opportunity to Track01 to make additional directories added together with 02 and again bring in the above format on a CD?
Or be in addition to the nero templates such as ISO, extra CD, SVCD ... define their own templates.

now I think of the wisdom of this enterprise a bit hard .. SVCD sounds so s.wie Super8 .. You have Nero, a few pictures, you want to play the whole thing on DVD players, why do not you make SlideShow on DVD? Burn the whole thing in a folder and not immediately on Vision Express on the disc but afterwards from that folder as a normal DVD. There, you then create an additional folder and copying into your pictures - That does not detract from the DVD and the images can be viewed on any PC .. Not to mention the visual quality of a DVD from an SVCD altogether ..

On DVD there is no "slide" mode, so no way to fortzuschalten the images manual. But if you want just that (that) no self-running slide show, there are actually more likely to VCD or SVCD. The statues Resolutionder is in both cases in the PAL version of 704x576 and is therefore hardly worse than the Resolutioneiner DVD. I would even prefer the VCD for still images, because it is compatible with more players than the SVCD.
I have already created VCD with Nero with over 200 images and found no restriction. However, I have never created a menu, but only "simple", VCDs, start with just after loading the first picture.
