I am waiting a long time for doing this, and not with the measly resolution and in 30fps, but in full HD resolution, 25p or 50i, and with HDMI - YUV - and Firewire input instead of the camera. For that I would pay a few euros more synonymous, as an alternative devices to date are at 800, - up to several thousand euros, which is bordered mEsWucher (, Focus, Sony, Citidisk, Edirol ...)
As hard as it can not be true, a reasonably priced full HD Recorder with the current building entrances to it. But there are probably of the copyright lobby one on the lid. Years ago it was once an inexpensive device of the Company Bella planned from the U.S., which is known here by editing keyboards and PC mice. The unit in which the name was already well established Catapult is singing-and unsung disappeared into oblivion.

Otherwise, the device would be interesting if the alignment of the camera recorded sound material for external help, on average, about dignity. Maybe even auto?
Unfortunately, this is still a bitter Gefrickel unless one with a flap or other optical / acoustic match can work (; holds degrees in situations where you want good sound eg concerts, etc.).
Because we can superimpose the 30fps frame accurate but probably bend.

The scope, which you've described, I was already being considered synonymous. But I see it as synonymous, the 30fps disqualify the part of this.
