Hello Erika,
You speak to me from the soul and I am very disappointed that you still have received no response. We have the same problem. We have in our motorhome a SAT-dish, and it would be great if we are for reasons of space on my laptop a TV picture might receive. Supposedly there are now at the IFA Berlin, a simple USB stick "Cinergy", probably the necessary space in it. I do not trust myself not to buy this thing and would like to include a professional, whether the synonymous really a solution.
Maybe you can give me notice when you've solved your problem. I'm technically not exactly the Allerhellste.
Liebe Grüße

Hello you two. So I have a digital Satelitenschüssel and a TV card in my normal PC. In a laptop is obviously not. There are however a number of TV cards, which one via a USB connector to the laptop, or even PCMCIA. Emergency buys her you a Receiver and buy a TV card, via USB, which has an analog input. I use the Skystar 2 TV (connected to the PCI slot), there is synonymous via USB (with remote control):
further information at www.Skystar.de
looks at:
AirStar-T1 Tele Stick (DVB-t, digital, USB)
-SkyStar USB (DVB-s, digital, USB)
ModiTel-1 (DVB-t, digital, via PCMCIA)
The cards have 5.1 digital sound, HDTV support, EPG, ... and much more. The maps on offer even satellite internet via satellite, such as skyDSL etc.
The software is so great. In addition to the price, who is also a nice. Otherwise you will find synonymous others (mostly freeware) versions on the Internet. I would have little to worry about as long as the TV card is not just cost 10 ¬ ;-)
Otherwise, there is neuerdeings of course, if you do not have Satelitenschüssel on motorhome or on while driving (!) Want to watch TV, DVB-t (terestrisch, ie via antenna). (This can be synonymous to save costs, a Satelitenschüssel to buy the car while driving to adapt.) There is little room antennas, "with whom you have a laptop on TV can receive. Also via USB 2.0 or a different interface on the laptop, possibly synonymous PCMCIA (if one writes * g *)
This applies only as long as it is in an area in which it exists. possibly can and Ehler image disorders occur because of this DVB-t soo not yet widespread.
One problem, it could be a TV card to find the two TV inputs. So it takes a station to another and can look next, or take two things and can gelcihzeitig on the same transponder is to keep watch. Or even picture-in-Picture functionality. Using the laptop, you can even go next and deferred his shots look. I start with my Receiver is only half an hour later to look at the coil and on advertising. At the end I'm usually ready at the same speed. ;-)
That would be the only thing that would come to me ...
But so much is clear: It is in all cases, especially if it has Satelitenschüssel did! and not just recently!
Hope I could help you!
Liebe Grüße

Hi Constantin,
Bussi-Bussi for your quick reply. I'm technically not so super good, but your instructions make me a little bit next. For example, I do not know whether digital television or satellite television are two pairs of boots.
My laptop has a USB 2.0 connection. I have times in the media market testing, but since you have told me that the space is not enough and I with the picture transfer would have no joy.
Now, I chanced upon this stick came Cinergy, which supposedly have the latest technology for such problems should be and stick in the amount of data to bear. I see the way? Please write me again, what do you think.
Thanks, and love greetings
