I cut on Avid Express Pro 4.6 and actually do little gimmicks, I'm more oriented reportage, magazines and television programs. Now, however, I do grade mal 'was playful and would like to have this effect ... the Avid Title tool of there as little ago. Perhaps a plugin?
Someone an idea? Oh yes, I am quite fit s.Avid, no beginners.

Tip: Get a "defective" font, for example, where the edges of individual letters "pitted", or the type or does not exactly fit into the upper or lower hineinragen length - this is authentic as ne olle typewriter .... Fonts gibts zBusbei www.dafont.com

thanks for the idea, I understand that was. So for each new letter is added to a new table ... That would work, especially with the attack sounds.
But I must s.etwa 15 posts in the film a little longer text in this way appear to be, namely, profiles of the protagonists than a freeze. Ie the picture freezes - Freeze - it appears halbtranparente area above the picture (like a glass of milk) and to the characteristics of the respective protagonists. With the "craft technique" with the title tool is a huge amount of work, ie, hundreds of panels.

Simply insert new text and animation to target-> Hineinanimieren-> template, the typewriter on your text layer drag. Then still in Avid or After Effects to the sound of the letters to vote and ready.

In Premiere Pro, I have the quick & dirty times of doing it:
- A title with the full text (instead of many for each intermediate step)
- With an Effect, the level s.Rand cuts, trim the edge s.rechten animated by keyframes so that the character piece by piece will be displayed.
Is somewhat Gefrickel by hand with the keyframes and goes so synonymous only if you have only one line (otherwise you probably need a title per line), but otherwise it has worked well (even if it is in AE with the templates is much more convenient ).

yoginaut Yoginaut Thank you, thank synonymous s.den unknown host for his tip. Since my multiline text is about 15 times and I need the effect, I try it with Leiber After Effects. I wanted me anyway has always been broadcast times s.AE ...
They have one question: I know that I have AE in the Avid timeline as a Quicktime reference can insert. What is it with the Reeimport in from Avid? Or must the movie as DV AVI from AE to export it back into Avid to have?
Then it would be better throughout the movie to have done, then the effects in AE and inserted because of a Quicktime reference directly to the encoding type (mpeg2 for DVD)?
How is your HAZARDS workflow for a sensible and lasting quality without costing Umcodieren?
