Has anyone still a version of Avid Free DV to home for Mac OS X rumschwirren? Bin Final Cut - Editor and am happy with Avid a little familiar, as many houses to stop the Avid platform and not (yet) with Final Cut.
Avid has set the freeware but there is only hard cash against a version ... but I want me just the basics raufschaffen and at least a feeling for Avid get ... because I need not express or full versions. How big can the difference to Final Cut but not his.

you can Avid Free DV is no longer used because it is my knowledge of Avid previously had to be unlocked. The activation, however, there is no more.
I am facing the same problem and am on the students and student versions pushed, the Avid is now offering. The subject, however, synonymous between 250, - (Avid Xpress pro) to 260, - (Media Composer) and may not be commercially exploited.

Perhaps you are one 'yes' to the circle of pupils and students, or know someone who they could buy for you ....
What I have not yet rausgefunden whether it is in fact full acts. I've heard the rumor that films that with those versions will have a cut edge, where students and student version appears. ... can anyone confirm?

I am not one of the students and pupils, therefore, comes as an investment is not in question, even from (only) 250 ¬.
With the logo exported shooting at the edge, I have no idea. But I could well imagine that such a small Avid devilry has built.

Hi,
I can imagine that pupils and students for example will not apply and no film in competition may intersect, and so far that the software would have a significant deficiency, which is entitled to restitution.
Especially if the AVID should hide. Because AVID after cursory review of them but nothing to find, is pretty sure not synonymous branding done.
But imagination could be synonymous with a short call to replace AVID.
