I'm looking for an easy-to-use (PC) program that allows me a possible time-lapse movie with my Nikon D70 to create. Is there free / or cheap programs that you can recommend?

I am no longer up to date, but of Nikon, there were at least trying the program "Camera Control", which can be (just look at the Nikon website for details). As a free trial version will run in full 30 days - maybe this time for your film already made.

Can not all video editing programs as a single video sequence import? (Okay, the movie maker, perhaps not). Then you could chronologically numbered the photos on your computer, and is ready to import the thing.
