One is the other HDV DV. Think about what you like but just what you need.

I use HDV for the following reason.
1. The quality which I now produce, I will in 10 years on jedenfall need.
2. I film only 16:9
3. I lose nothing, I film and edit HDV, then I play the tape in HDV quality back to the camera. Now do I convert the movie into DV back to the PC and create a DVD. The video archive I in HDV. And in a few years to burn me like this an HD-DVD or Blue Ray or whatever synonymous always the DVD format of the future.
