Hi,

"Damage the Camera" is a little high - it would be called. worst case, which is to be feared.
Some cameras / tape types seem somewhat more sensitive than others to react and tend to be dropouts. But the normal case it is not. Most tapes these days anyway come from the same manufacturer, synonymous if another brand is on it.
Normally nothing happens.

Philip, how to behave your camcorder is no one you can reliably predict. Even within a single model number, it is at different levels of experience that may be related to synonymous, even MiniDV tapes same type certain quality fluctuations.

After a lot querlesen I choose the Panasonic DVM60AMQ decided. Zumidnest for a test run. If I am not satisfied myself, I try elsewhere, but as far as I have read the tapes are suitable for Canon cameras. (In my case, the XH A1; yes, still oversized, but I grow into it as manual and would like to regulate them).

I use an SonyTRV33 and gets since the beginning of s.nur premium tapes Sonyand I had perhaps wenns high hergeht 5 dropouts noticed since 5 years. I think the synonymous with their own tapes to try to use would be synonymous illogical then to other brands to grasp. I any case can only be good to say about the premium wenns always synonymous many bad talk.
