Infoseite // Setup menu with DVD Architect

Frage von bluedater:

Dear Forum,

I have a small problem with DVD Architect and hope that once someone has solved. I would like to make a DVD, a series of individual short shoot contains. For each film there are four different soundtracks. The choice what soundtrack is playing, I would like to have a setup menu can (if so then English has been selected, all movies with English soundtrack running for so long until someone explicitly changing the soundtrack).

I now have a setup menu, where when I click the button, the corresponding audio track adjustment. Unfortunately this seems to go only if I explicitly followed a media track pounce and not on the menu remains. This in turn brings the problem with that I have for each movie a separate setup menu should make, which of course is not a solution.

Can someone tell me whether I'm doing something wrong, or whether I was not really planned it.

Thank you for your help in advance.

If you are in a setup menu and change the audio track, then it remains in DVDA while actually get up in the next step you have the audio track re-conversion.

Under normal circumstances (whatever that means but) it is better authored a large mpeg2 file, and created based on the menus (such as with scene selection). Perhaps in your case where you work with multiple files test, this point is exactly the problem.

Thank you for your reply. What you write in the first paragraph, I suspected as synonymous, unfortunately behaves DVDA will not be so. The buttons can I adjust the tracks. Even in the preview of the project, however, I noticed that when you click the button the track will not be converted.

The major with the MPEG2 file I originally synonymous so want to do. The problem here is that I only wish to play individual chapters, eg in Chapter 3 Choice of synonymous only the Chapter 3 would like to have played (and still do not, etc. Chapter 4). That is what I have in DVDA unfortunately not right. Therefore, then the cutting of the MPEG2 file according to the chapter and the playing of the whole movie then have a playlist. If you have an idea but, as I with a long MPEG2 hinbekommen otherwise, any time ...

Thank you very much.

So since I can already tell you how to do this. Basically you can find it synonymous in DVDA 4.5 Manual described on Page 50/51.

And although the "scene selection menu" - which is available in two forms exist: one is the actual scene selection menu, which only hook into the mpeg2 file is defined, and then the part of "returning to the menu afpter playing the selected scene / chapter "is described - and need da du

Basically you add the marker is a - either already in Vegas, then you need to get the rendering, or just in DVDA in the timeline.

Then you generierst in several DVDA a button by using the video several times in the working drawing, or copy content. It is a matter of just several buttons from the same video to get - and although, as many chapters you want.

If you have multiple buttons, you select the button, and set in the timeline of the DVDA In - and Out points (cursor s.die put, and then with the symbols above the timeline set these points).

The are you doing for each button. And then that's actually - s.Ende as a section of the video jumps back to the menu.
