Frage von Lutz Dieckmann:Hi,
Now I have times a question about a MAC. Bin themselves and PC owners can therefore be a friend with MAC little help. Maybe you can be. Hab synonymous search using the forums, but found nothing, sorry.
The problem:
It has a JVC GY-HD101 and logs with FC Pro. In Free Run Mode, so easy without the normal Capture Batch Capture. FC suddenly breaks from the Log, with the indication of a time code errors.
I know this of my Liquid but with On The Fly capture it there.
Has an idea of where you should be looking at the MAC, or what's wrong? I would like to help her.
Many greetings
Lutz
Antwort von Axel:
Perhaps there is really a TC-error on the tape. I think that in the absence of further instructions, beginning with the most likely.
What can be done? In the user settings, there is a selection of what Final Cut Pro on TC errors do (see Attachment):
s.Neuer Clip
b) Stop Recording
c) Recording continue at Exit Report
With the third option can not really work, since a time code means demolition: No digital video.
You can try if s.funktioniert. I even risk it, but nothing more to say because I A1 with the estimated 80 hours and still no break had TC. I always use fresh tapes that I never in between front-and back coil. Opened s.einem recording tapes I do not full.
Previously, this was different, but synonymous Camera and band locations were probably not as reliable. During a break, I then vorgespult and recording of a new hand starts.
NLE can not record when the time code is lost.
Antwort von WoWu:
Final Cut Pro has only very rudimentary support for the 720p25 format and does not use the extensive data reconstructions that are actually available and discontinuous timecode continued.
Therefore, Final Cut Pro stumbles on each synonymous "lousy" Dropout.
It remains as only the tape with a reasonable capture program is available. On the one hand there is considerably less then drop in the files again and synonymous each 2-3 seconds s.Anfang of each clip.
As you can capture almost all accept.
We have always used DVxDV, but there are other synonymous Programs.

On Final Cut Pro, you can sadly do nothing ...
