I have a problem with my Simpsons DVDs.
When I watch, I have very annoying "artifacts" (the so-called?) The very strong flicker and thus the quality is very unpleasant.
I have a picture attached, I hope that you can see what I mean. The verpixelten bodies, there are only a few examples framed, "flicker" very strong.

What exactly is it? The name for something would always help me with the continuing problem of search.
Can this be fixed?
I've tried several codecs, and several DVD players. I have also tried the DVD on the computer to draw, but the problem remains

yes of course it was the original DVD.
In this example, the 4th of the 9th Season.
I have these errors synonymous with other DVDs from the Season and other Seasons (6, 7 and 8).
For ExtraDVDs, of which I still possess Simpsons (Bart Wars, etc, Sonderdvds with each containing 4 episodes), such extreme picture errors not exist.

/ E I can only confirm. I have the Duck Tales RC1 DVDs here. There are sometimes so many episodes on a DVD has been that the data so far down to be that right now the picture is grainy and noisy. When everything is right .... I think it is good that you tried, not just 2-3 impact on a DVD to accommodate, but if the quality suffers massively, then a lesser impact on a DVD pressing.

In the U.S. TV stations, while working for a long time with digital video recorders, use (s) but mostly composite format, ie D2 or D3. / E These are the DVDs in order to dual-layer DVDs, so has a consequence about 1GB (usually 7 per DVD Fogler).
The bitrate is about 5500kbit therefore the quality should not suffer.

Until now I've found that with a program like VirtualDub much change / improve, but I do not know enough about it.

How can someone from there? Enough to know that you ensure that these errors hardly wegbekommst. Grobflächigen When things like cartoons, you can of course try to set with brutal noise reduction / sharpening something out of. That means synonymous but that you put your Simpsons again MPEG-2-encoded DVDs and need. Whether it's looks better then, I venture to doubt - and the time it would not be synonymous ...
