I know this is not a buy decisive criterion for a camcorder, but I would like to know the extent to which attach to the software and Manufacturers their camcorders. In the Manufacturer websites can be found to relatively little.
Lt Sonylegt site with some camcorders, or Nero Express6 PictureGear (?) At.
But that's no editing software, right?
What's the matter with JVC, Panasonic or Canon?
Do not think its that one> for Cams in the price range 500EUR may expect a software?

Nero exp. mW is a CD-burning software and PictureGear one in the era of USB very slow and antiquated software to transfer of still images from your camcorder to your PC. I can think of any camcorder in which a workable editing software supplied heard. For this is again a few euros extra paid. Powerful Products smbd eg Ulead video - or Media Studio, Adobe Premiere, Vegas Video, Canopus Edius, etc. - this parting of the ways.

Broke my Sony camcorder bought, there was the "Picture Package" software while ;-) really bad.
Do not know whether this is s.Sparen or more "political" decisions, but at every measly firewire card is ¬ 16.90 for at least a program like Ulead VideoStudio 8 while :-)
