Hello I have the above camera and it can be normal old Hi8 tapes to play well. Now I have an even older cassette, the evt in LP or SP? is incorporated (Tape was with another camera recorded). Hello,
after a little Google, the TR780 LP in a position to play, but not incorporated. Given your description of the error, there are some few options:
1. tape is defective (too old, etc.)
2. The camera has recorded the tape was defective (broken, slipping head)
3. Camera recorded the tape has signed an incompatible LP
4. The head of your camera is broken / slipping
Resolution:
1. Unfortunately nothing to do except try a different camera.
2. Definitely nothing to do.
3. Camera of "time" or a similar rise from the same Manufacturer
4. With other camera sample, test whether the very first tapes you recorded with it has run smoothly.

first thank for the answer.
So the tape works a few minutes before the recording and after recording synonymous. Only 20% in the middle do not work. (which could just be that they with the other camera has been).

It should auto detect it. The problem is it only when the tape "mixed" was recorded.

You could try the tape s.der unrecognized body from the camcorder to remove and re-insert - it is probably in a newly inserted new tape to try to recognize their format.
