Frage von ccds4u:Hello
I found some interesting videos on youtube that show the lens adapter LA-100W:

Sony product page:
http://www.sony.de/biz/view/ShowProduct.action?product=LA-100W&site=biz_de_DE&pageType=Overview&imageType=Main&category=CameraAdaptors
Has anyone ever used the adapter?
Regards
Michael

I seriously wonder what adapters are designed to DSLR lenses (; no preference whether full frame or APS-C, etc.) to a 1 / 3 "Camera to plumbing" - otherwise you can not express it. The glass surfaces of a DSLR Optics were never counted for the mini-image circle of a video camera.
It's already bad a 2 / 3 "-Optics s.einer 1 / 2" Camera adapt. What a fiasco because CA please come out there at such a compilation.

Proud price! Some adapter for Nikon lenses cost less than half of the LA-100W.

But the Sony lenses are synonymous but enough for a high res Alpha 900 with 24 Mpix (; just the G Lenses), you should convey the synonymous but in the smaller sensor has the same resolution?

Clearly, extremely expensive. But if you have Sony / Minolta Lenses?

Such adapters have been here now for quite a while on the market and that many experiences from practice, there is already synonymous - with a very large majority positive. Check out at times when interest www.dvinfo.net clean: where there are a few threads to these adapters, especially s.Sonys and JVC's.
... But if you have Sony / Minolta Lenses? ... Sure, you have to bite the bullet.

Ich hab nen EF adapter f + r the Canon XL1s .... the use of high-quality lenses is such a thing but it can work out but as I said, "more of a gimmick" and not in line with what one expects from it.

As the crop ratio in HDV, I do not know is.

Citation Sony Product Description:
The unique adapter LA-100W allows the use of the a-Lenses that have been Sonyentworfen for digital SLR cameras of. Due to the increasing size difference between the sensors or the HVR-Z7 HVR-S270 and the DSLR cameras, the effective focal Stillimage of lenses at the 7-fold. This is especially useful during the shooting of animals in the wild. And the shallow depth of Stillimage lens is ideal for film makers with a limited budget. So if you want to make any extreme telephoto shots, this adapter, the total nonsense. About the quality of these recordings, I have found nowhere what. The above youtube links always show just how the camera looks like with a flanged Optics, but it shows (-probably for good reason) never the result of that, or a recorded video.
And the statement because of the low depth of field "of the lens is indeed time anyway bullshit. Not the lens itself gives rise to the depth of field, but the target surface. And is still the same.
