I have some time before Microphone for Sony's Hotshoe purchased. Now I would like to know whether this Microphone synonymous with other camcorders (Sanyo) is compatible, or whether it actually fits into the port?

It is an SonyECM-HST1. And it should fit into a Sanyo HD1010 camcorder. Had really pity if the would not fit. Why are there not simply a connection to any use?

Why are there not simply a connection to any use? Most camcorders use if they have received micro, mini-jack 3.5 mm. Other devices such as portable minidisc recorder, wav recorder, etc. Incidentally synonymous. The most appropriate synonymous micros have these times. A league drüber is the standard XLR connection.
