I did not know exactly where I hinposte, but I'm busy with the question of whether these tapes are for a ton. Have previously read that the coating lightly on the video heads and thus deposited in the long term harms. Is that so?
Use the VX1000E, so even an older model.
I hope someone can enlighten and hopefully reject the accusation ...

This topic is already in the forum so often of so many people been discussed, that is now well - again - a fairly reliable statement can be taken: In Sony cameras, there are no problems, the drives of others (particularly Canon) come so often but not almost clear. Then Panasonic tapes the safer choice. Currently I shoot exclusively on premium tapes in a Sony without difficulties would occur. Even when we had a VX1000, she got only premium tapes and was satisfied.

We have already synonymous Sony s.die 800 Tapes by without abnormalities. Dropouts comes with each tape - otherwise würd None cleaning cartridges to buy;) But with the Sony tapes certainly no more than with others. One should however remain at a tape and the Manufacturer does not bunt muddled mix ...

I had many negative experiences with Sony tapes. Many dropouts and even take a tape salad. This was Canon (XM1) and Sony Camcorder (VX 1000). Since I use Panasonic tapes I have hardly any problems. Much less dropouts. Before a possible change of the band, but make sure it places a cleaning process with a cleaning tape make and especially the band never resorts and Manufacturer mix.
After switching to Panasonic tapes to remain consistent.
If a camera easily with certain Sony tapes work, I would have a change to a different band locations or Panasonic not recommended. Only when the camera so that (with Sony) problems.
