Need Help: The Lens mener SonyCybershot DSC-W1 does not more. Once off the lens while trying to move, the mechanics' buzzing '... but the lens remains extended. When you turn the same ... Lens shrugs, mechanics' buzzing 'but no effect. It appears in the display of the notice 'turn power off and on again' ... what remains but without success. Rest of the functions (menu, data etc) ok. Sometimes helps gently tapping on the table, or you press the lens quite a bit careful rein. Would it but first try with the knocking. Never try anything with violence.

AndyZZ ... I have your first tip for a joke kept ... but it worked ... it was more than a 'gentle' tapping required, but the lens has finally added and everything ok ... THANK YOU

I can fully and completely confirmed. Synonymous just had the problem that a SonyCybershot DSC-W1, the lens does not retract read more (Display display "Camera Ein-/Auschalten"), several times knocking against the table - everything perfect! Super Tip!

I just had the same problem with my SonyDSC-W15 and have your typing with the on-the-table-knocking tried. In fact, it worked! Could hardly believe it!
