Hello!
I have the following problem:
Since few days I can not transfer mini DV recording on a PC. Pinnacle Studio does not recognize the video camera is even with the Fireware cable to PC-bound, synonymous Ulead Video Studio does not recognize the video camera. Synonymous Windows XP does not recognize the video camera, shows not on the working space. I clicked on another PC and with the other firewire cable, but tried again the same problem. Maybe you have the DV port grilled. Since you have (not only) for camcorders take good care.
