Hello,
has someone experience with this camera? Have a 7 year old SonyDCR TRV-14 with tapes, but now I keep problems (stripes, etc., despite cleaning cassette). Would like to switch, but still not credible on AVCHD, after all, what I have read here so in order processing, etc. I have the Pinnacle Studio 10 and 12 and think the software would have to be quite well with the recordings of this DCR-SR 210 things? !
Again to the tiresome topic: Importing into PC via USB - this model has not synonymous Firewire - connection, via USB so that must be imported. Since MPEG-2 recording, which makes this Sny, but synonymous should not be a problem, right?
Can someone tell me how the impact-quality, if I then edited video to DVD burning?

We have 11 units this model in use (for the VJs a newspaper publisher). I am with the quality very happy about playing the MPEG data via USB goes quite fast. One single treatment of the data and then burn to DVD, I have not noticed any visible loss of quality.
For the sound we use but at least the Sony Aufsteckmikrofone because the built too many Nebengeräusche take. In addition, we work almost exclusively with Tripod, because the camera is relatively easy.
Meaningful is synonymous to purchasing a wide angle converter, since the smallest focal pretty big ... ;-)
But remember that the camera does not record HD, if it is relevant for you.

Thanks you for the prompt reply. If I really consider this, I should probably correct but in HD - is surely the future and think that the quality synonymous when the finished film on DVD is synonymous across better, or ???!!!
Hm, I must yet again precisely the Canon HV 30 to view, but because I hold back cassettes. N'e hard drive is already bequember if one is on and not always with a summons in cassettes rumtragen want to then possibly still have dropouts.
