Frage von viamontana:Good evening,
long time since I have a problem with my SonyFX-1 when capturing with Adobe Premiere Pro CS3: I can normally my HDV footage from tape capture, but my Premiere CS3 freezes regularly for different duration ranging from about 1-15 minutes. Then only helps to an abrupt stop of Premiere CS3 with the Task Manager and at the same time and again turning the camera to the capture to proceed.
Very annoying the whole thing, as you can imagine. I've been at Adobe and in English-speaking forums searched, but no solutions found. I recently had a test carried out with CS4 and the problem still exists. Moreover, it is both on my desktop PC as synonymous on my laptop to the problem!
Can someone help me? If the problem is perhaps even s.der Camera?
Thank you very much,
Sebastian

Looks more like a hardware problem with the FX1 from. Probably a thermal problem.
I know from another perspective: my computer starts only in the summer properly, or when in winter the room temperature at least 20 degrees. Before reaching a certain temperature in the PC to the hard disk controller is not easy.

HDVSplitt runs outside of any editing software and includes a "mistake" made in CS3.
Also a reset of the camera can be used in a 2nd Step examined
Even using a different cable IEEEE1394a has already helped
Also capturing the whole gang in a train, without a scene of separation, has already helped (may CS3 scene after separation synonymous perform Edius can not, however, Liquid)
