Since the Sonybei VX / FX series, the sound is generally very poorly handled, it's just in his FX1000.
Possible detours would be on a separate audio recorder, or you take two external microphones and go through a mixer and the stereo jack into the FX1000. Then you can use the two tracks in the Camera recording separately.
