Infoseite // SonyFX7 - HDMI Output

Frage von zlois:

Hi folks,

Following:
I have a SonyFX7 and a FullHD-enabled Asus VW266H PC monitor. These are currently my only HD equipment.
I have noticed is that the picture, I agree with the s.Monitor via HDMI, it looks far worse than when playing s.PC (via VLC or Nero Showtime). The picture is somehow verpixelt, fine details are below, light staircase formation or Alias | Wavefront Mayaing is perceptible. It does still look good overall, but by the software player is still significantly better.
The monitor is correctly set, and supports real 50Hz native 1080i playback (no lines at 1920x1200), it can not lie.

As a cause, I guess now the conversion of horizontal Resolutionvon 1440 to 1920 pixels. This is me, however, the question of where this happens? If the system when playing via HDMI and 1440x1080 from the initial resolution in the monitor converted, or is he already highly calculated from 1920x1080 via HDMI? I have long searched the Internet, but no real information found ...

The camera gives the 1920 signal and converts it synonymous in 4:2:2 s.Output around.
HDMI is a "turnkey" 1920x1080 4:2:2 (50/60 Hz) signal for transmission ahead. (or even another HDMI. conformant signal, such as 720p50

Moin Hannes ...

The HDMI format you can read here:

http://www.hdmi.org/download/HDMISpecification13a.pdf

You need to Distinguish between primary and secondary formats.
Primary is a MUST with the manufacturers, SECONDARY One can.
`I hope the link helps Dir
