I did because of the data output in HDV SonyHDR an extra-9CE with Firewire interface purchased. I did my hour HDV film directly onto the camera tape play. Booyah! But now I wanted to make a new Project and of the Camera the HDV material in the iMac with Final Cut Express does not load .... ..... the HDV camera is apparently recognized and it seems a video window of the message with FCE Cancel with ESC ... the camera is controlled remotely from the MAC, but there is no picture displayed. If you press ESC to stop the camera again.
Someone gave me a tip on how to still capture the video material could be? Previously I had the SonyHDR-AVCHD UX1E with this one could import the material, but not spend. I have to again switch to a Casablanca or the PC or MAC synonymous even able HDV material to be cut?

Makes me wonder that with your camera is not working. With HC1 it worked wonderfully.
Have you tried an iMovie times, whether it also does not work?

Now it works, I had the camera set to "display output on V-Aus/LCD" make and then it works. Makes me wonder, quite honestly, that has an influence. I'm glad that it now works.

When I made my videos on the FCE Camera HDR-9CE spend all still tremble so huge. On the iMac, the video runs normally.
