Hello everybody!
Mir is a link here in the forum noticed that it SonyHDR USDI-HC7 abroad much cheaper there (here is an example of a price search engine from Switzerland: http://www.toppreise.ch/prod_105444.html (click to euros).
Since it is in Switzerland to my knowledge the same television standard as in Germany, it would be of technical Page probably no problems.
Aside of the higher shipping costs, I would be interested to know whether it is advisable to have a camcorder to buy?
- What is for example in case of warranty (as Switzerland does not belong to the EU)? Could I have problems if I have to an authorized workshop of the manufacturer and do a warranty repair (especially Sonyand Canon) call?
- What is it with the taxes? If the Swiss Dealers VAT from the purchase price s.and I have to declare the unit here?
- Are there other aspects that I have in mind?

For Switzerland:
- Significantly lower VAT, but of course you pay the tax GERMAN
That makes a good 10% extra that you need for books
you do not pay VAT, the Swiss, but the German.
- Only one year warranty with the dealer.
Whether that will still pay, is more questionable.

Sony Offers in Switzerland, only a warranty of one year, but for a fee to be 5 years hochgeschraubt.
I mean, there were 150 CHF (very roughly estimated probably 90-100 EUR).
Although it is questionable whether these synonymous with a workshop in Germany, "works" / picks.
Then the thing with the tax and the inches .... (I drive in the summer in Switzerland and they could then buy it on the spot, but a little getting used, I would like already with the Camera).
Good that I asked you. I'm going to get now but in Germany and buy a few more Thursdays to wait until new models are available and then I buy a discontinued model.
