I'm just about my HDR-HC7 or HC9 to buy and would like to know whether the data transfer from the camcorder to iMovie on my iMac 08 is working. Since this is an important buying criterion for me, I would be grateful for a reply.

That should easily be possible - "of course" only via Firewire.
(USB is not for video but for images on the Memory Stick)

Look at the HV30 at times. I have long synonymous between the HC9 / 7 and the HV20 fluctuated. At the end it was the big price difference and the test computer in the last video.

With the Canon HV30, I had synonymous geliebäugelt, but now wahrscheiinlich remain in the HC7. I can see me but in any case still in the testing of computer video. Thanks anyway for the tip.
