Hello,
I just had a nice SonyHi8 Camera CCD purchased and used Tr2000E do not know whether I am simply incapable of, or the device is defective.
If I had a cassette insert it spins.

Is s.der tape the lock on? Could be that the camcorder will not accept the tape. Look after.

Not that you accidentally did a Video8 tape. Or even a DV tape. Hats, where everything already ;-)

Not that you accidentally did a Video8 tape. The plays (not only) for the TR2000 is irrelevant. Hi8 devices are backward compatible and can be synonymous as Hi8 and Video8 begin playback.
Remote diagnosis is always difficult. The part is defective. I see both the same.
