Is the camera broke down? Since the error is reproducible, I would say yes. There are parts in tape drives, which wear out with time and thus lose their function. The drive belt (rubber) would be such a part. When worn, there is increasingly Volume salad.
How did the cleaning tape because again? Was synonymous pulled and wrinkled?
Antwort von christa:
Yes, synonymous the cleaning tape was s.einer Page angeknittert. The tape itself is normal but not tense and somehow pulled out. (Sigh, I still have about 20 tapes to copy me and Extra ADVC300 to digitize borrowed. The Sony was only for about 60 films used)

You have not responded. So I assume that your assumption of
a hardware defect persists.

You have not responded. I had to do here yet, but now I come slowly to the evening. The backup is already running. :-)
So I assume that your assumption of a hardware defect persists. Unfortunately, this is correct, my guess is by your new data only confirms next.
Who would provide Antriebsriehmen obtain and exchange? Are you a professional, the idea of such a thing has of itself and a look at your camcorder could? That with the drive belt is still just conjecture and remote diagnosis is always difficult.
Otherwise, only the service would remain, resulting in such devices, but usually not worthwhile. It would take too long and then would be the A / D converter again. : - /
Or you know someone who Dir (s) a Hi8 camcorder could borrow?
Antwort von christa:
Dear Mark!
Thank you for your answer!
The converter should I send back again tomorrow. The weekly rental is unfortunately already.
Dumm gone. But the most important material I have in any case as the first digitizer can. That is what ever.
Maybe someone here in this forum from Göttingen, who with the Hi8 system know?
