Hello,
this is quite simple (if one's white): In the menu you have to give the recording or recording of DVCam mode switch to DV. DVCam uses 15 micron track width, as opposed to DV with 10, resulting in the length difference.
With DVCam tapes recorded, you can only synonymous with DVCam playback devices, but everything is reversed (miniDV / DV DVCam Record at synonymous and playable).

Locked audio is not quite synonymous unimportant, because according to Sony's specifications, the permitted deviation between Picture and Sound with DV at least ± !S full amount.
And if you have the opportunity to DVCam record, we should, I think, make synonymous. I think the benefits outweigh the few larger than saved 60 minutes per tape.
