I am a student in Halle Saale s.der Multimedia / Virtual Reality.
It is a long time that I set a movie camera.
That's probably either the VX2000, VX2100 PD150 or even (and all of Sony) is already certain to be in a year. Only an offer I was not yet on the road.
Now my real question:
What do the following mean values at a PD150? (; To see the action under the menu item menu item ETC> 'Hours meter'.)
Operation
Drum Run
Tape Run
Threading
(; Eg drum 28x10h, Operation 47x10h, Tape 15x10h, threading 76x10h)
What are the numbers of hours to the camera can still be described as new, s.wann it is "used" clearly classified as?
Too bad that such values are not available for a VX2000. I have to be able to rely on the information of the seller. But more than 100 hours out of the question.

These menu settings have the following features;
Operation: the cumulative total number of hours of operation will be displayed in increments of 10 operations.
Drum Run, and the cumulative total hours of drum rotation with tape eingefädeltem is displayed in increments of 10 operations.
Tape Run: The cumulative total number of hours of tape transport operations is displayed in increments of 10 operations.
Threading: the cumulative number s.Bandausfädeloperationen is displayed in increments of 10 operations.
But I still say very little. How are the numbers meaningful or important?

Hi Julian,
the numbers say something about the bet and in the current state of the camera or the tape drive. A head drum in the area such as MiniDV for about 1,000 head hours (; Drum Run) designed. If the counter on 100x10h so, then these 1000 hours is reached. This does not mean though that the camera inevitably must be more, but it is an indication that could develop in the foreseeable future repairs.
Film cameras are the models, however, not listed, but video cameras. The PD150 is the professional version of the VX2000. The successor VX2100 (; is brighter) also has a professional offshoot: the PD170. What would be for you to make a "right offer"?

But of course. For our BVW-7x machines we have extra replacement cartridge slot here because sometimes synonymous wg. Wear fail.

Can not synonymous, the terms engraved & chew the monastic as high as the Sony service?

What would happen for you to make a "right offer"?
I know that it would be synonymous safer to buy a new, unused model. But I always try to clarify the background and details of the action.
I have been looking NEM year or so after calming Cam, have my price limit of ¬ 1100 up to 1700 ¬ screwed.
And remains in this context only ne, used left VX2000. (; Anyway since many prefer the VX2000 PD150 on the XLR yet so I do not have necessarily refrain..)
