Why have the expensive television cameras often no optical image stabilization? The result looks but a lot calmer.

Yes but the shoulder cameras are still designed for the shoulder with movement? My SonyPMW in such instance, the 320 and 350 series.

I know now, no shoulder camera that would have built a stabilizer (although there are a few so-equipped optics). Necessary, it is normally synonymous, because these cameras are bigger, harder to keep balanced and good for the shoulder use. Catch your breath as it were in much better than a 500-gram mini-camcorder, with the one-handed herumwedelt in the air - to put it somewhat exaggerated. The latter is an urgent need for a stabilizer, which compensates for the size and weight disadvantage.
