Hello,
I have a digital camera SonyTRV7E when I had finally broke the Recording s.and there was a blue screen with black vertical stripes. I do not see any picture more, the menu, I can also no longer call.
When I switch the player mode, and start the playback, I hear the sound of the tape, but see no picture. Instead, the blue screen again with the strips. Here is the menu.
Have already made NEN reset, the built Battery expanded ... all to no avail.
Hopefully someone can help me, need the s.Freitag Camera ....

Hang the camera times the calculator.
Kanst you manage?
Is this picture ok in the overlay?
Can you of the timeline off?
What is there in the picture display? Also Miess?
If everything works, is an error in the ribbon to the display likely.
That is not very expensive, but no service until Friday to make.
Is that all is not possible, the camera is already a case for the service.

thanks for the quick reply. Unfortunately, I have no grad cable on hand for the Cam s.meinen PC.
When I look in the Viewfinder I have the same problem, black bars.
But in "Play Mode" I can read the onscreen menu, do not you agree if the error in the cable would be the menu is not synonymous to read?

Are the now vertically or horizontally?

That, however, pointed out that the connection to the display is OK.
Had the beam horizontally, it would be with certainty, the head drum.
This could be a cleaning tape may be short-term remedy.
In vertical bars, I am overwhelmed because I have never experienced something did.

I have a bad feeling about this, if a camcorder such an error shows no service with it and will do it a few days later on just that device arrives. Since I would prefer a functional, reliable camcorder borrow.
Somehow, I begin to experiment with the cleaning tape so when someone wants a broken television running by the picture tube wipes clean. ;-)

Markus is right.
A cleaning tape, use only in the desert or at sea, where no service is within reach.
But I have made the proposal because no service until Friday the running.
Better, however, is really a "functioning" Camera with it.
Cleaning tape, please just run 10sec max.
If the error is not gone, s.zum Service!
