Frage von nachtspion:Hello, I'm owner of a VX2100. I produce my videos exclusively for the Internet. HD was never an issue.
Nevertheless, I would like in the future to convert widescreen, 4:3 is synonymous in the Internet slow "out of date". Therefore, I am thinking about my VX2100 16:9 or able to make me like an HD cam like the HF100 zuzulegen.
Because if I look at the Prices for the Century 16:9 look, I come with the Canon significantly cheaper. And since the videos are really only in the network broadcast, I ask myself whether it is still worthwhile in the VX to invest. Eventually I get the VX still so much to me that I buy the HF100 with you?
Moreover, is irritating to me the tapeless workflow.
The only shortcoming of the HF compared to the VX is probably the Lowlight behave, where I often have read that the RF is a good Lowlight behaved. Unfortunately I find the VX is no longer in the database to Slashcam in Lowlight with the HF100 to be able to compare. Do you know roughly how big the difference is. Movies I often do in the dark, or interviews in clubs and discos.
Often it is suggested the HF100 to HV30 preferable. I would be back again but s.tape, which led me to the VX has pretty annoyed. Largest Comparison Pros in the manual are possibilities for the HV30. But anyway if I think of myself a DOF zuzulegen are then not take advantage of the HV30 about the manual controls become obsolete?
Any opinion is welcome.

for the internet but the ranges of 16:9 mode vx2100 all right?
hf100/hv20 certainly have a better picture but if you order in the disco
what ordinary gets rotated (cmos phenomenon with disco lighting)
worse tonabteilung weaker in lowlight is questionable ...
and whether with such a small cam (HF100 without viewfinder) than the interviewed
ever seriously ?....

Hello,
na as "night spion" I can well understand that you are most of the capabilities Lowlight interested ;-)
Take a butter for the fish and explain us what you plan with the Cam. DV is not yet dead, but very soon .... and will be 16:9 duty ....
A 16:9 has the disadvantage that you in 4:3 Viewfinder / LCD synonymous shrink to a Picture 16:09 appears. You need to design the image quite a lot of imagination. I had a Canon XM1, which was synonymous anamorphic 16:9 recording, but the viewfinder image is squashed me after a short time really annoyed.
Good conscience, I can you just advise to HDV. It opens up to you so that new and interesting ways, synonymous only if you have videos on the Internet or DVD on a normal landing. Times because I had this story written drüber s.Beispiel einens choir concert:

If you want your videos, not only with hard cuts and provide a bit more expensive after editing, I advise you strongly to a camera with tape recording. That makes you and your PC and follow leads to significantly better results. The AVCHD format from the HF100 is required with the highest computing performance while on a regular basis and leads to problems when the PC is not absolutely the best set up.
Insofar synonymous of my tip to sell your DV Cam and get the HV30.

On-DOF, I would say that I rather regarded as a design element to s.Filmlook as close as possible to come. And just as the movie where I would like to have look, I need my view manual controls. The rest runs with the automatic.
I have an Intel Quad 9550 with 4 GB of memory. If this is not sufficient for AVCHD? Memory is cheap, I would like to have the retrofit if necessary. I usually make hard cuts.
In principle, it is so that my videos so far in small resolution levels, since the bulk of the population still on slow I-Net connections were underway. Today, it is so that my audience with DSL in the area of 2,000 - 16,000 and 50,000 will soon be underway. That means for me a new way of thinking. My next video, I would like in full Resolutionfür the bandwidth to 4000 Kbit / s post. Vimeo is a good example. Despite a reduced HD resolution are many videos in fullscreen just to traumhaft. So considering I have a HF100 to purchase. I would like for my projects but never such a monster like the VX2100 purchase because it was oversized. So everything is about 1,000 euros for my project too expensive.
Sure makes a HF100 or HV30 interviews with her not much, but I admit it's always s.das it just for the Internet. I do not think the Intervieweter with a Broadcast Camera expected.
The VX would with a 16:9 Century just yet so my requirements to meet widescreen, with the Vimeo videos in Comparison to HV30 or other in full HD Cams simply look horrible.
But 899 euros for the upgrading of a DV Camera? For this reason'm out and hergerissen. The VX 2800, I had tasted, and it would be a pity they are simply in the corner to make. But more times for 900 euros an obsolete format is not really worth it, right?
As I said, more than 1,000 euros may not be there this time.
