Hello. Have myself VX1000 bought one on ebay and am satisfied.
The head can be hours at the VX1000 is difficult to verify. I heard that one to one LANC remote control needs. So unfortunately I have no idea how much I have on it, or how long she's still does.
Ask definitely time to see if the ribbon cable from the viewfinder has been replaced before. This is an old VX1000 Manko, suddenly you have no picture more in the viewfinder, because the cable is gone.

If you want your play to cut material back to the CAM,
then you should drauf achten that DV-IN is enabled.
If not already enabled, then certainly a Cam with serial number

My inziwschen has well over 1000 hours with me on his back, a total of
probably much more.
I'll make 1 X a year Minimalreinigung (cotton sticks and alcohol, cleaning tape
I never saw), no dropouts, perfect picture.
The viewfinder cable was never broken in me, but the ribbon cable
for the recorder control on the cassette compartment. Costs EUR 70, DIY.
Sun: No worry.

you know how much it costs to replace the cables permit seeker? and where you can leave it to s.besten this? when sony is supposed to be so very expensive!

In the video service with me around the corner, it has cost 2 years ago about 90-100 Euros. The service was at the time, fortunately just a replacement cable when the viewfinder, and I had not so long not to the camera. As the availability of spare parts now looks like, I do not know.

You will be in 3 years post yet in this forum, looking for the best camera .... NO! S.anfang I wanted either a pana3chiper, Canon XM1, Canon XM2, sony vx 2000! But with enough information (pros and cons), I've made my decision to buy either a TRV900 or a VX1000 too!
