Hello!
I was always very annoyed of the limitation of the wide angle of my JVC GR x5e.
Now I thought to myself, I'll buy myself a wide angle converter. Since JVC does not offer, I have found something else:
VCL-0737x HG
Is this intentional fit? If, under Fremdzubehör not to image distortion or something similar?

You have to be careful that the connecting thread s.Converter (37mm diameter) and Camera s.der fit together.
Visually, it can happen in rare cases that a converter is durchzoombar throughout the zoom range and at some point no focusing is possible. The risk is lower if one uses the same Converter and Camera Manufacturer.
Take your camera with shopping and try out before purchase. When you purchase from the Internet pay attention to the return possibilities.

The problem is the very thing that JVC does not offer that somehow came with wide LONGLINE connection.
The thread is the same for both. 37mm. But I would be interested if the fit SonyWide Anglefür certain shots. Zoom I do not want anyway. For I have time to focus.
