Hi,
I have a small problem, or do not know what it means:
I do a manual white balance, as always, after closing the menu appears on the monitor icon for the man. WB (and the two triangles on the left and right with the dot in the center) - so far so good. Yesterday this icon started blinking but suddenly - what does this mean?

A flashing icon normally indicates that the white balance either still running or has failed - for the XR500, it should be the same with high probability. But most certainly you will find the answer in the manual.

Unfortunately, this is just in there in the Bedineungsanleitung nothing. I was completely outside any event long in the WB menu.

Naturally you need a manual white balance setting on the button in a white surface so long to press the display stops flashing. Only then back again from the menu. I assume you have just selected the manual white balance, and then leave the menu.

... Blinking is probably a symbol that not enough light is ready to adjustment? ... Agrees in principle: The slow blinking is a warning that under the current lighting conditions, the manual white balance could not be run correctly. So yes, it is synonymous in the manual.
