Frage von Jens Gundor:Hello
'm New here and have the following questions regarding storage of my DV tapes. Since I am with an expensive suitcase with seal bought Feuchtiggeit to hold (at least to create similar conditions as professional archive space), I would like a suitcase Monitor by getting a sensor (433-MHz radio) with reinlege.
In this suitcase are cassettes, Camera and camera included.
My question is as follows. Has the 433 MHz radio impacts to the DV tape or not? I would be very pleased to your comments.

I think that the radio radiation "does not affect your tapes should have (usually less 15 mW power) - but if your suitcase is made of aluminum, it could be problems with the range of the radio signal type. You should, if possible, the transmitter then the suitcase outside mount (and then the problem with the radio radiation is done). What kind of sensor do you want to create a purely because ...

What exactly do you want to monitor? Humidity, temperature, or even a camera insert?
What conditions actually prevail in professional archive rooms? I thought previously, that the tapes are in the cabinets, to minimize dust. But Humidity and temperature are normal, I thought, values, such as synonymous in my desk drawer, at least when it comes to IT going?

.. UA plastics are degraded by light and the plastic makers are iron particles. Iron rusts now. Oxygen / moisture. Abei temperature is a catalyst.
So the best thing you can do weldable tapes in your bag offered. If you go to a kitchen appliance, you the man with the air from the vacuum bags and then they weld it, then that is even better. A not too warm space of a drawer and then to storage.
Change the way the iron particles synonymous with their magnetism orientation. This is a very slow process, but he does dadhingehend from that of the signal to noise ratio on the bands over the years is low. A transmitter in the vicinity is not synonymous helpful and if it is "only" an electric field acts, it is not suitable for this process is precisely to correct this. Apart from this, what do you want to monitor? You need to have about whether you put your tapes as long as possible to conserve, or if you have with the monitoring exercise like a hobby ...

Also in archive rooms to around 10 C and humidity 20 - 40 percent. Did I at least read.
Among the people making fun following it said.
When an HDV camera, respectively, then one would at least make them tapes to purchase a BluRay burner good deal.
That relating to "fit it on the tapes do not run away."
For all other, I would like very much for the help. I am not ebend on cars etc, but my hobby is shooting.
