Frage von Kenika:Hello!
I despair slowly:
I have split my hard drive so that when I boot between Vista and XP can select. This works wonderfully as far as synonymous.
The problem is, but here's:
My OMFIs lie partly on my VISTA hard drive ( "C:" under VISTA, "F" in XP). AVID that only runs under XP, is clear.
So: if I am in my AVID lying on VISTA OMFIs want access, the "access denied". If s.VISTA well, I think.
So I want the folder on my XP disk to copy / move. This allows me but neither Vista nor XP:
In XP, I asked if perhaps the data are write-protected in Vista do I need Administrator rights to continue. How do I know I do not. I thought the only user of my PC, I would have anyway ...!?
In summary:
I want to copy a folder on the AVID - vermutl. but because of VISTA? - Can not access. The folder can be, but neither XP nor Vista copy, let alone move.
Or is s.Ende's not s.VISTA? And how do I get with with access to the AVID OMFIs?
I ask for help and thank me now heartily.
Euer Dennis

If all else tear you can use the calculator with a special version of XP, called "BartPE". Is not exactly easy to create the boot CD, but if you look exactly s.die Instructions holds works quite well.
The advantage is that BartPE (Windows PE) is a moist sweepings to the user rights cares, except the disk encryption (only XP pro) is activated. Ie to the Home versions of all the directories are locked wide open (as far as data protection).
With the rudimentary tools of PE can then hearts rumkopieren.
Is that wrong synonymous, it is synonymous with a Linux Live CD remedy. "Live" stands for "boots and works of the CD." I have an older version of SuSe (was once in the c't), with the can I access the XP disks rumhühnern as I want. It was time for a total loss of the Registry useful, as not a single user account uffmachte the door.
Is it synonymous with WLAN, etc., of hooks: some things are getting used to and a little knowledge of Linux is much easier to work.
Your files should be in a directory where no admin rights are required. So users, for example, "all" and "allow" set.
