Hi Folks,
when looking at videos of my vacation, I get a big fright. On the right hand side are produced mainly in large pans artifacts. I can see perfectly older recordings, I suspect a defect s.der image drum. A quick search on repair costs when Sonymachte quickly becomes apparent that the new acquisition is probably the better solution.
At the SonyPC 100E I particularly liked:
- Robust construction
- Easy handling
- For me a very good image quality.
Now I am looking for a new camcorder in accordance with good properties. Numerous suggestions seriously meant I would be very happy.

Hi Uli,
Before you scrap your camcorder, try out something else: once thoroughly cleanse the drive. Operational reasons accumulates dirt that is there and eventually leads to the problems, as you described it.

Thanks for the tip, unfortunately he has not brought about the desired results.
My next camcorder will certainly not more of Sonysein. As long as the devices are still new, they provide great results. But the durability is not the best, and the Repeaturkosten are outrageous. This is true not only for your camcorder, but synonymous for DAT recorder, MiniDisc recorder ...
Perhaps I can muster anywhere from a second broken camcorder and then a gebrauchsfähigne hand craft.

So s.der durability of the Sony products I had been nothing wrong. Strictly speaking, has never been a device of adopted me. - Stop, back: My first camcorder was after 15 years (at that time without any maintenance of the temporal) blessed.
Sometimes one or the other needs a part time maintenance and video equipment will not come to triplex to Mainz - and to Sonynach Cologne. ;-)

That with the repair cost is on the other C & P. otherwise. A shelf life of over 7 years, I find synonymous with frequent operation OK.
