The Canon MV20 (anyone knows?) Is comparatively well when it comes to shooting in low light. The noisy little.
With little light I mean: pictures indoors, with the existing light sources, without additional lighting.
Now I have an eye on the Canon HG10 or SonyHDR-SR7E thrown. Unfortunately, I have no way to make a direct comparison to make. I ask in the lap times: what is the behavior of these cameras in low light? And without any green or jerky night shot settings? Noise the cameras so that the images can no longer use?
I hold the suspicion that a CCD with 1 / 4''and 420,000 effective pixels (Canon MV20) more from the existing light rausholt than one with 1 / 2, 7''and 2.07 megapixels (Canon HG10) or 1 / 2,9''and even more (?) mega pixels for SonyHDR-SR7E.
Or are not really noticeable differences?
Which Camera is because here in the forum than the light-sensitive, no preference whether HD or standard definition? Thank you.

The think I like that is very bright. Would like to find in the dimensions of the three I mentioned cameras remain. Is there a favorite as synonymous?

Hi Michael,
the question is easily answered in Lowlight, everything is worse than your current old Canon. Why is the VX 2100 & PD 170 so bright? Because each only 450,000 pixels at 1 / 3 "CCD have been used - better pixel noise ratio and dynamic range.
As new processors can be synonymous and better sensor technology to intervene is limited, the new camera to improve.
Today's companies rely on many pixels at either 576i PAL to what vorzugaukeln passable photos or shoot to be in 1080 HD resolution for the reason to create.
A 576i PAL Camera looks good but not really s.einem PC & Mac screen (the set more than 800x600) or HD Television from.
Here we had some purely written:
comparative-canon-HG10-vs-sony-SR7 or SR8 (I ask my mistake - the SR 7 & 8 not be attributed Zebra - excuse)
Video Active has confirmed then synonymous, sharp picture in daylight, quite passable Picture in Lowlight (good color, bright but relatively noisy halt)
But it was already clear, since the HG 10 seh much "innards" of the GM has built 20.

The thread, I have been synonymous with, but not because there was so much to the low light issue.
Today I still have this "test" discovered: http://www.easycamcorders.com/content/Quick-Review-Camcorders- Canon HV20.htm
Here is the HV20 (the HG10 is yes, quite similar) in terms of low light compared to the SonyHDR-HC7 shown to be superior. Are HDR-HC7 and HDR-SR7E identical on this point?
Antwort von Jan:
Look at me please of the linked images from magazines digital video assets to - yes there are 2 similar pairs HV 20 & HG 10 and SR 7 & HC 7 - because they are very similar components potter - small picture but already there are differences.
Yes HG 10 and HV 20 are better than SR 7 and HC 7 in Lowlight, the Sony, I would but a less glittering Picture certify - more sharpness and better color but the Canon's - the overall impression of the Canon's better for me.
