Hello,
I am looking for an HDV camcorder in the look of the Z1 is similar. We have two Z1 and seek a camera for use in a live cut. Should I basically just because SONY models in the search or would consider it synonymous models of Panasonic or Canon do? We have decided against a third Z1 to buy because it is quite faint.
Who can help?

I can not confirm. We have recently with the Z1 and a P + S MINI35 night in downtown rotated and had not even add gain, although it was very dark. Of course, this camera is not in terms of Lichstärke with a 2 / 3 inch camera compare.

If you're around the same look, then you'll have either the Z1 or FX1 access. The succession law should be identical.
It is very likely that other cameras provide a different picture because of other technical components and the internal image.
