When filming documentary went out after a sudden change of the lens aperture s.20X L-II Zoom no longer occurs. I keep changing after Lenses always with the lid in the padded pocket. The new lens was as useless and I have took some time only fixed focal lengths from 16mm film equipment. Then I tried it out once again - the same effect. Canon support told me with that trim strips by direct sunlight had become defective. This is something I have never at any Lens experienced, they are but for daylight with the sun made or not? Costs 300 ¬. Perhaps the sun came a short time into the rear of lens after the change (?). So prudence still in the air once the lid back on it with outdoor shoots. However, there are three hands necessary because the lens must change immediately so synonymous to the housing or a second take with 20X zoom!
War, unfortunately, a less good experience with Canon and has made me somewhat pensive. The Lens is just two years old and relatively few have been used. Are there any similar experiences with the Aperture?
